Trash Cats

The Trash Cats are a novelty percussion group that consists of volunteers from the high school band. The group writes an original routine every year and performs at basketball games, concerts, and other special events.

In 2006, the group placed 2nd at the Dallas Music Festival in the percussion division. This year's group has 22 members and will be performing at the state KAYS convention on Oct 31. The Trash Cats will also perform at local Basketball Games and the NJCAA tournament in March of 2007.

The first trash cat rehearsal is jan 9th saturday....this is one of two extended rehearsal designed to learn the show.

The 2009 trash cats will begin rehearsals in November and will perform at some bb games and the spring band concert.
